JAMMU & KASHMIR Curfew continues for 2nd straight day in Bhaderwah | KNO Situation under control but tense: Police Published 357 weeks ago on May 17, 2019 By KashmirNewsObserver Jammu, May 17 (KNO) : Curfew remained in force for the second consecutive day on Friday in Bhaderwah while as the situation today remained under control with no violent incident reported throughout the day. The protests in Bhaderwah were triggered by the killing of a person in a firing incident on Thursday. However, strict restrictions were imposed by administration in Bhaderwah Town and no one was allowed to move on roads to maintain law and order. Police officials told KNO that yesterday they arrested around eight persons to ascertain the reason behind the firing incident. The relatives of the slain Nayeem alleged that their beloved was a victim of cow vigilantism.
